Another great exchange took place via the sharing economy between local artist Charron Pugley-Hill and Johnathan Martin, CEO at The YMCA Trinity Group.

Charron was generously willing to share her artistic talents to a good cause, enabling her art to reach the community. The YMCA, accepted this offer, to be displayed at the Time Stop, which is an emergency housing for 16-25-year-old in need of shelter. The exchange was arranged through the new sharing economy – Helpasandwhen.co.uk, which connects people willing to share their skills, talents, knowledge or time with those looking to benefit.

Charron says “My art is about allowing the creation and the magic to unfold naturally, in the moment and in an intuitive way that evolves visually before me through both paintings and installations and embracing the unknown by channelling the inspiration from the experiences and knowledge of the world around me. I rarely plan any of my work as I trust myself on an emotional and creative level to create the work that I feel deep within my hear.”

The second exchange of the day was the photographs who were taken by Layne Howlett, a student from Peterborough Regional College who exchanged her photography skills, enabling her an opportunity to gain work experience.

Another opportunity to make the process of contribution and finding help easier, by connecting you with the right person. “We never learn how to do everything and we all have something that we can exchange” say Zoe the founder.
